If you're here, you have seen some of my work and might be wondering just who I am. Good question! Most days it seems like I am a million different things. If you're a mom in 2025, you probably know exactly what I mean. I am the mama to four amazing children who we have homeschooled for the last ten years. My oldest is in high school now so part of my life is filled with the wonderful and oh so busy world of all things adolescence. Which is... a lot :). All of my kids are wonderfully interested in all parts of the world, which keeps me driving from sports, to 4H, to friend's houses, to farmer's markets, to the hardware and art store... if it's out there, my kids want to be a part of it! They get that from me.

I think God led me to art and creating early in my marriage to help keep me grounded. There is something peaceful that happens when I take a table full of paint and odd scraps of colorful patterned paper and put them together to create order and beauty. It feels a lot like life. All of these separate beautiful bits of my heart come together and by the end of the day, something beautiful and full of life has been created.

And that's the essence of who I am. I create. I gather the little pieces of life- whether it's our family life or my art and I put it together to celebrate the endless beauty that can come from the joy and trials of everyday life.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget, God can take even the messiest canvas and help you turn it into a masterpiece.
